Well, I have been hunting for a job for a while now.. But no luck yet. I havent been sewing lately, cant seem to motivate myself to do so. I go through that every once in a while. Usually if I try something new I can get back in the crafting and sewing mood. Im trying to update my blog a bit, but its been a while since I have been on and things seem a little foreign to me. I think today I will do a little blog surfing and try to get inspired.

I finished these up this week, after much debate over what they were going to be. I finally decided on small hanging pillow cuties. I think I may keep the americana one. I love americana stuff, and it will be hard for me to part with it. I'm going to put the other one for sale on my webstie.

Isn't it cute? This was done using a pattern by Little House Needleworks. The pattern name is stars and stripes. I love how it turned out. I like anything that is americana. I'm not sure what to make out of it yet. It measures about 5" x 5". I really dont want to frame it. I was thinking maybe a little pillow or something like that. If anyone has any ideas, please share them with me. I'm off to start on another project now.

I have finally gotten around to finishing Miss Lydia. She turned out pretty nice for my first one. She is wearing a lovely linen dress, and I put a lacey bonnet on her too. Her hair is wool roving. I put it in a bun on top, and then left a braid down the side. Here are some photos

Here is a photo of some tiny santa's I am working on. These will be for an upcoming show. They are so little and cute, only about 4.5" tall. He is the first one, so my others may differ slightly. I might add a teensy pine sprig. I will add these to my website, to be available for purchase as soon as I get them done and give them my final stamp of approval.

I finished the candy canes yesterday. They turned out pretty nice I think. They look much better in person than in the photo. They are big, about 15" tall.
